Gram Flour Dessert

Gram Flour Dessert is one of the popular dessert in Pakistan. It’s very popular dish in winter season with ” Kashmeri Tea ” as I said before “There are no rules and regulations for eating “. But it’s hard to find on any sweet shop in summer.
So’ why can’t i make it by myself ?
It goes best with evening tea or as a desert after dinner. .

If you have a ” Sweet Tooth ” too so ‘ you must try this recipe. It’s a very easy and very cheap too. Because all you need is only one special ingredient and that’s Gram Flour.

So, here are the ingredients.

. Gram Flour : 1 cup

. Clarified Butter : 1 cup

. Suger (of course): 1/2 cup

. Milk : 1/2 cup

. Vanilla essence (or anyone of your choice): Few Drops

. Green Cardamom

. Almonds

. Walnuts

Instructions:

Take a cooking pot.Put on medium heat, put clarified butter in it.

Let the clarified butter melt, put cardamom sugar and gram flour.

stir it with wooden spoon till the sugar get dissolves and you will notice that gram flour’s colour is changing.

Keep the heat on low flame while frying the gram flour.

Be careful about frying the gram flour as it’s change colour very fast and can be burn and you will get a black or dark brown colour at the . So , once again be careful as this part is bit tricky .

Now add essence and milk into it (don’t put the milk in once . Pour it a little again and again until you see a fine texture) and Keep stirring till the flour is completely combined & become fine texture .

Taste it before serving. If you feel a taste of raw gram flour so cook it until the taste is change.

Serve it hot by adding almonds and walnuts on it .

Remember that don’t stop stirring as the mixture can be lumpy.

You may be needed some extra butter or milk  to get the fine texture.

You can change the amount of ingredients.

Spicy Fries or Masala Fries

Who doesn’t like fries? Every body does . But if you like spices  so you must try this recipe.

So ‘after a while I got time to share my MASALA FRIES (same fries which I served with omelette ) recipe with my friends. It’s a great snack at night while you’re watching some movie or it can be serve woth bbq as a side dish. I add some fries strips to my soft sandwich to make it crunchy.

Things you will need for this recipe are:

. Potatoes  :  3 ( washed and peeled)

. Gram Flour : 2 Tbsp
. All purpose flour1 :Tbsp

. Red chilli powder: 1 Tsp

. Salt : 1/2 Tsp

. Cumin seeds : 1/2 Tsp

. Garlic Paste : 1/2

. Oil for frying  .

Method:

.Cut the potatoes in Fries shape . .Mix all the ingredients in a bowl by adding some water until make a thick paste.

.Now coat the mixture on potato strips.

.Heat the oil and fry like you do your fries.( I burned my one a bit caz i was making green sauce so forgot the fries).

.Once you get a pretty golden brown colour it’s mean that your dish is ready to serve

.Serve with cream cheese or sour cream for a different taste. Or you can serve with any sauce which you like.

Green sauce:

Take some coriander leaves, fresh mint leaves, green chillies, garlic clove and salt, blend all in a blender and make a thick sauce . While blending add 1 tsp of white vinegar.

Free Tip: If your better doesn’t stick with strips so add an egg to your better . Mixture will definitely stick.( I got this tip from a fries vendor and it always works for me )

Note: Sometimes I change the flavour by adding different species like ” Tandoori  Masala, Pickel Masala ” or any others. But remember that if you are adding other spices so you have to use less quantity of spices from above .

Make , Enjoy and give your feedback .

Loaded Omelette

We usually take omelette in breakfast but I like to have it at night. Well, there are no rules or timing for eating an omelette.

So make it and eat it whenever you want.

The recipe I am sharing is my own recipe. I like sour and spicy.

The ingredients are:

.Eggs  : 4

.Tomato : 1 ( medium and chopped)

.Green chillies : 2 (chopped)

.Potato : 1 ( medium cut into thin and small slices)

.Coriander leaves : chopped

.Black olives : Few (chopped)

.Slat : as per taste

.Red pepper : Half tsp

.Chinese salt (optional)

.Black paper (optional)

Method:

. Whisk all the eggs in a large bowl and then add spices and veggies (except the coriander leaves) and mix together.

Be sure not to add too much veggies. If the mixture gets thick it’ll be hard to flip the egg, thus, it’ll break.

. Now grease a nonstick pan with oil and pour the mixture and leave the pan on low heat.

. When one side is cook then flip it over. Now the tricky part is “how to flip eggs ” ?

So here is a tip use a table spoon or a wooden spoon to flip the eggs.

Now fold omelette and sprinkle coriander over it .  If u like cheese so add 1 or two slices and cook until cheese is melted.

Or you can put it in oven until cheese is melted .

Serve with fries and red red ketchup on it . (I used masala fries here. I will upload Masala Fries recipe too as soon as I could.

Note : You can take half of the ingredient also because i used only two eggs.I used one lemon too.

Enjoy and leave comments .

No Poo Method

I used to have healthy and thick hair. But I ruined them by using different chamicals like ( hair colouring ,bleaching , rebounding, curling) without any protection. I used to condition my hair after about 4 or 5 months. 2’3 years later I noticed that I’m having severe hair fall and my hairs are no more thick. I lost the shine and the beauty of hairs and sadly, I don’t even have a picture. I m scared to use any other harsh chamicals on hairs as I don’t want to go bald . Now the hair is very thin and frizzy just like a dry grass or a broom. I don’t even like to comb sometimes because it hurts combing dry hair. So I have to tame it with a few drops of oil but I don’t like oil, honestly.

It’s my hair story from good to bad .

A couple of weeks ago I was just browsing about how to get silky or shiny hair naturally. I don’t know where I read about “No Poo method”.

It’s sounds strange to me (because I heard about it first time) but, as I don’t want to let my hair suffer from the harsh chemicals anymore’ so I start  following the “No Poo method” without thinking about the results( I already had played enough with my hairs) . But the result was unbelievable for me .

In one week my hair are so soft and i can feel the difference.

So I thought about sharing it with others people too (like my mother sisters and cousins). I make a small ” No Poo community”  and add my family members to it. So why shouldn’t I share it with you?

Here is the recipe for “No Poo “followers

.Baking soda

.Water

.Apple cider vinegar or white vinegar

Put 1-2 tbsp of baking soda into a 16oz cup (or close). The ideal ratio is about 1 tbsp of baking soda per 1 cup of water but u can use as length of your hairs. When you go to shower, fill the cup with water and add baking soda to it. stir until the baking soda is dissolved. If the mixture feels gritty or pasty, either add more water or use less baking soda. Now apply the mixture to your hair. you should work it in with your fingers, gradually distributing it throughout  of your hair. It won’t lather like shampoo, but it does give your hair a distinct “smooth” feelings. Once you’ve rubbed it around a bit, you should be ready to rinse. After rinse you’re ready for conditioning.

Same method goes for conditioning but we have to use vinegar instead of baking soda here .

1 tbsp of the vinegar per 1 cup of water. If you like you can add a few drops of your favorite essential oil( i use coconut oil because I don’t like the smell of vinegar even after washing hair it sticks in my head and follow me every where so i just hate it). When you’ve mixed up your conditioner, pour it on and work it in just like you did the baking soda. After 5 to 10 minutes , rinse thoroughly.

Remember that when you pour vinegar solution just pull your head back and close your eyes so it won’t go to eyes.

.You may not get the result in few washes.

.So stay calm and try&try and don’t give up you will get the results soon.
